Efficient Use of Solid Alternative Fuels

Support the usage of alternative fuels and reduce the burden on the environment

ERITECH recognizes that one of the great milestones in the waste treatment industry has been the production of solid alternative fuels from materials that could not be effectively recycled and returned to circulation. This production of solid alternative fuel has given a use to a material that would ultimately end up in landfills while simultaneously reducing and replaced the use of fossil fuels such as coal and oil.

The solutions provided by ERITECH are particularly useful in cement plants, whereas they represent waste-free recovery of energy and material form waste.

In order to fully leverage these innovative processes, ERITECH designs solutions fit to the otherwise inefficiently recyclable municipal and industrial waste. These processes facilitate the removal of high-chlorine plastics such as PVC. The extracted materials are then processed and shredded into a mixture of energy-valuable solid alternative fuels materials called Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) and Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF).

In all these operations, ERITECH supplies alternatives or supplements to existing transport and dosing technologies with new parts that are able to handle dynamic flow properties associated with solid alternative fuels. When designing, we carefully consider the properties of the fuel, technological needs and the local conditions.
